FIRST OFF we have new author Amber Polo's first book ROMANCING REBECCA (The Wild Rose Press, ISBN: 1-60154-126-0, 2007). A
Paranormal Romance with humorous tones as well as suspense and mystery, blend as well as does the author's talent with bringing
the mystic surroundings of Sedona, Arizona to life. Her characters, a heroine who is a no-nonsense practically non-romantic woman
and a hero who is a shy Trance Channeler, are so realistic readers will indentify with them instantly. Take a mysterious plot of ; 1
WOMAN + 2 MEN IN ONE BODY = 1 ROMANCE and you have a great book that keeps you turning those pages.
An Author of more than 30 books, Jan McDaniel's book INSEPARABLE (The Wild Rose Press, ISBN: 1-60154-117-1, 2007) is a
Paranormal Romance that has a unique plot about the heroine's life long imaginary friend suddenly becoming a reality when she falls
in love with a newcomer in town. Psychic Zoe would prefer a normal life but things get complicated and dangerous when she falls in
love with Max and her imaginary friend Devin becomes jealous. Readers won't put this book down until they discover what's truth and
what's imagination in this intriguing story.
With the interesting title BLUE MOON, ( Zumaya Publications, ISBN# 978-1-934135-72-3, 2007) readers are at once drawn into a
Fantasy story that is full of magic, danger, dragons, and page turning intrigue. Heroine Libby Halstead is the current guardian of the
Merlin Stone, a powerful talisman that controls powers beyond comprehension. When the evil Sabin steals the Stone, Libby embarks
on the dangerous quest, along with several unlikely allies of the hero (Alex), a dragon (Zorovin), and a wanna-be magic user (Sierra).
All this revolving around the aspect of the Blue Moon. This is a Contemporary Fantasy that will draw readers in, and leave them
wishing for a longer story.
WHEN HE WAS BAD, (Brava, ISBN#978-0-7582-2726-3, June 2008) has two paranormal romance stories, with authors Shelley
Laurenston and Cynthia Eden. These are "set-the-pages-on-fire" with hot-loving Alpha males that are determined to claim the women
they have in their sites --- no matter what obstacle stands in their way. These sexy, BAD, shifters are yummy but the heroines end up
showing them they can be tamed ---whether they see it coming or not!
HOT DATE (Brava, ISBN# 978-0-7582-1593-2, June 2008) is an erotic, contemporary romance that sizzles. Author Amy Garvey
takes realistic life situations and turns them into love stories that are remembered long after putting the book down. Take heroine
Grace Lamb and put her in the direct path of sexy hero (and object of her childhood crush) Nick Griffin, and you have instant
combustion. Add a bit of humor and a bit of mixups, and you'll be left looking for the next book by this author.
Also an erotic comtemporary wih Brava (ISBN# 978-0-7582-2184-1, June 2008) is author Jill Shalvis' SUPERB AND SEXY. All about
scorching seduction, Brody and Maddie end up playing a game of "I'm-in-love-with-you-but-you-don't -know-it" and in the process heat
up the pages with their passion. A little danger, alot of sexual tension, and this book is another great read by Ms. Shalvis.
TO BED A BEAUTY (Ballantine Books, ISBN# 978-0-345-49460-3, Feb. 2008) by Nicole Jordan, is Book # 2 in a back-to-back trilogy,
and is about middle sister Roslyn Loring. Determined to have the love of the earl she "believes herself to be in love with", Roslyn
decides to learn the ways of being a mistress. After a fateful encounter with rakish Duke Drew Moncrief, Roslyn finds herself being
tutored by Drew and unexpectedly falling in love with him. Endearing, yet "hot", this is another keeper for fans of Ms. Jordan.
Fern Michaels' new book HOKUS POCUS (Kensington, ISBN# 978-1-4201-0185-0, April 2008) is Book #2, about the Sisterhood once
more. Exiled to a luxurrious mountaintop, the Sisters are left missing home and frustrated that they can't risk returning after their last
escapade. But Chief Justice Pearl Barnes is in trouble again and the Sisters will risk it all to help her. Add a little magic, a lot of
conspiracy, and an endearing set of friends who take care of each other despite it all, and fans will love this book as much as they did
the first one.
LOST SOULS (Kensington, ISBN# 978-0-7582-1183-5, March 2008) by Lisa Jackson is a "on-the-edge-of-your-seat" thriller that
pulls the reader into the mysterious and dangerous world of the occult. This author has the unique talent of being able to write DARK
books that although are frigthening and tense, also intrigue the reader into turning those pages. Wanting to be a True-Crime writer,
heroine Kristi Bentz enrolls in a college where girls turn up missing, "lost souls" that no one cares about. Investigating puts her life in
danger and the reader is left ---until the end --- wondering how this can turn out good. Reader fans of Ms. Jackson's will not be
disappointed!
Sylvia Day's latest Historical, DONT TEMPT ME (Brava, ISBN#978-0-7582-1763-9, April 2008) is an erotic foray into the world of
seduction and intrigue. Lynette Rousseau is determined to reclaim her twin sister who doesnt remember her. Enter sexy, jaded, hero
Simon Quinn who is instantly intrigued with the two sides of Lynette despite not wanting to be. Put the two together and you have a
love story that scorches the pages.
Another Brava Contemporary , THE ONE I WANT by Nancy Warren (ISBN# 978-0-7582-1045-6, May 2008), is an erotic encounter
between two completely opposite people. Chloe Flynt is British and a party girl that dumps men for a hobby. Enter sexy cowboy, Texan
Matthew Tanner, and Chloe may find she's finally met her match in the love department. All hell definitely breaks loose when these
two clash and find themselves falling in love.
An Anthology by authors Shannon McKenna, E.C. Sheedy, and Cate Noble, BADDEST BAD BOYS (Brava, ISBN# 978-0-7582-0852-1,
May 2008) is a foray into the erotic with 3 heroes that are sooooo BAD they'll take the readers breath away! Each story has a plot
revolving around danger, leaving each hero having to protect the woman he loves. For Reader Fans of these authors, this is definitely
one of those books not to be missed.
And finally for this round of Reviews, a Brava (ISBN# 978-0-7582-2223-7, March 2008) by HelenKay Dimon, RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW
